If you have come across this site just by surfing the web, welcome! I really hope that you will enjoy the stories!

If you have come here via the link from Lakefire, I must warn you that the two main characters(Viska and Eseth) will be different. Viska's name is now Kaza, though Eseth's name has not changed. Lakefire isn't some weird mystical place, but is a small island named Ocean's Flame with an unknown past and bizarre geography. Eseth and Kaza are a whole lot younger(eighteen instead of the late twenties-early thirties they were portrayed as in the original. The backstories are different, many characters were just thrown off, and the romance between Redwing (not Redfeather. Oh, and the whole angel thing is different, too) takes a whole lot longer than one crappy chapter and isn't insanely sappy and awful. Oh, and though they don't say it (yet), they all know what birth control is. Which means Dusk doesn't exist (worst character I ever invented). Magic is actually defined and much cooler, Kaza and Eseth live in a tree, Redwing lives in an abandoned lighthouse thing, and this other angel dude, Junin, regularly engages in screaming fests with everyone (except the oblivious Eseth), and fairies are as annoying as hell.

RULES (these only apply if you want to be a writer; other than that, these don't matter too much):
1. Please do not trash-talk our site. Constructive critiqe is fine, but no insults.
2. If you are signed on to our site, you MUST add onto the current story-in-progress.
3. You MAY NOT add onto a finished story. All stories have a set date of when they will end, and after the deadline, they will be locked. The deadlines will become sooner and sooner the more people we have.
4. If you want to add a new character, please PM me with the character's bio(personality, gender, name, eye and hair color, ect.) and I will try to slide the character in. If I believe that the character is weak, a Mary Sue, or just needs to be revised a bit, I will send the bio back to you with notes of how you must change it.
5. NO CHATSPEAK! My editing skills will only go so far. Please try to spell and use grammar correctly.
6. DO NOT flame or bully other writers. If I find out this has been going on, I will ban the person who has been doing it.
7. I hate to sound like an idiotic schoolteacher here, but if you see any flaming or bullying that has been going on, tell me.
8. Try to have fun. If you get bored, don't complain to me. There's a reason why this is called a writing site.
9. Please don't add a new chapter. If you've done that, I'm afraid I'll have to delete it.
10. Read all of the chapters before adding onto the current one.
11. Don't create any pages without writing on them(this applies to only the Mini Stories, as you can't add a page anywhere else), or they will be deleted.
