The Beach
Eseth glared at Kieth. He was just another oh-so-typical creepy moron who seemed to think she liked him. She about ready to fry his guts, but of course she couldn't do that.
"What is your problem?" She asked irritably.
Kieth gave her her a smug grin. "Well, what is your problem?" He asked snidely.
Eseth glared at him from her place on the sand. She didn't like swimming all that much, so she had brought one of Kaza's books with her(this one in particular was about the physiology of dragons) and laid on her bright orange towel to read it.
She and Kaza had come to the lakeside, only to suddenly be besieged with desperate boys. Eseth noticed Kaza still fending them off as she waded into the cool water.
Most of the boys had left her alone, espiecially when they noticed she was a Fire Elf. They had instead attacked Kaza, because they presumably thought she was easier prey.
So they had gone, except for this one guy named Kieth.
"Kaza!" She called, mostly in order to try and get Kieth to go away. "Come over here! I need to ralk to you!" She said.
While they waited for Kaza to swim out of the lake, Kieth asked, "So, you have plans on Lightsday?"
Eseth sighed, and turned back to her book. Currently she was reading the chapter on elf-dragon hybrids. She wasn't entirely sure how...comfortable...that would be for either of the parents, but the dragon parent was usually a shapeshifter.
That didn't make it any less weird.
"Hey, Eseth, did you really need something? I'd just started swimming." Kaza whined, her white hair(recently highlighted with red, giving it the odd impression that it was on fire) soaking wet, tangled already. Eseth flapped a hand at Kieth and said "Kaza, this is Kieth. Kieth, this is my friend, Kaza. I'm sure you'll get along very well."
Kaza snarled an incoherent curse at both Eseth and Kieth before stomping loudly back into the water-an interesting feat, as she was walking on soft sand.
"You didn't answer me. Do you have plans on Lightsday?" Persisted Kieth.
"No."
"Wanna go to the Lightdragon Festival with me?"
"No."
"Awww... come on....."
"No."
"Why?" Keith whined.
"No."
"That doesn't even make any sense!"
"No." And that ended the conversation, only to have another as another started as another boy came over to ask to the Lightdragon Festival, to which she replied "No." As many times as possible but this one was even more persistant if you can imagine.
"Come on girl..." He persisted for what had to be the thosandth time.
Eseth looked up at him for the first time. "Look, do I even know you?" she asked. "uhh... no." he replied. "Then scram!" She yelled in such startling voice that the boy fled for dear life. "And don't come back!" She yelled after him
